Myself:
As noted in my post today, I’m a wife and a mother of one (so far… as I’m currently pregnant with the second) two sweet little boys. And I LOVE being in the kitchen. That’s the food aspect. The faith aspect of this blog, and me, is that I’m a born-again believer – a follower of Christ. He’s my Lord, Saviour and King.
We live in the Maritimes of Canada. Currently living with my parents and four younger brothers (like I said, there’s a lot of cooking going on in this house to feed all those boys!). We’ve recently moved into our own two-bedroom home. It’s quite comfy-cozy.
My goal is to work into my own cafe. I want to be able to live off of my love for cooking. Heck, I even took Tourism and Hospitality Management at University.
So this is me, and I hope you enjoy my blog, good food, words of faith, and getting to know me better along the way.
The Blog:
Down to some of the more nitty-gritty [boring] details.
All photos are taken by myself (or my hubby). I use a Nikon D3100, normally with a 50mm lens. I LOVE our camera. It was the best investment we’ve made yet.
Also, all recipes and photos are property of foreverfaithandfood. I welcome you to use/share any recipes and photos, but please, link back to me/give me credit in some way. If you would like to contact me about using something, that’s great. Shoot me a comment, or message me on Facebook (www.facebook.com/foreverfaithandfood). Just please, link back to me if you are planning to use a recipe/photo in some way. Thanks so much!
You:
You are the reason I’m writing. Thanks so much for reading. It is my pleasure, and I am so glad there are people out there waiting to hear from me. I hope I’m a blessing, encouragement, and that I supply you all with some great recipes and my simple (but very real) faith. I love to hear from anyone – comments, questions, anything! Shout out. Love you guys! Thanks again for reading!
Hello Kayleigh! We didn’t get to meet while I was in Canada in 2009.. so.. hi! 🙂 The title of your blog really called for my attention, because that would be a good description of me too- faith and food. I love cooking, but I specially love baking (I’m sure I’m not as good as you though, I’m just learning); and I love Jesus, He’s everything to me.
I would love to get to know you, and also make your recipes! 🙂
Hi Sara. I believe we did meet, but only briefly. 🙂 I’ve heard many great things about you. It’d be great to get to know you too! Hope you enjoy this.
My beautiful cousin 🙂
I’m so lucky to be able to test out your wonderful recipes, everything you make is so delicious! I’m also very fortunate to know you, your whole family, and your adorable little boy.
❤
Hi Kayleigh! I sent you a friend request and I remember you and Jordan as youngsters. I used to babysit you occasionally! I am so happy for you and Jordan and the baby! I will pray that God gives you the desire of your heart and own a cafe someday. I am gluten free so am going to try to make your chocolate chip cookies gluten free for my kiddies. I will let you know how they turn out. Great to see your smiling face! You were (and still are) such a pretty girl! I remember your beautiful curls and smiles when you were little. Anyway take care and hope to stay in touch. Love in Christ, Julie (Harvey) Veinot
Hi Julie. Thanks. 🙂 Glad you’re reading.
